    One year after the first Split EP with Duncan Macdonald, 'Existence Is Absurd', on LowEnd, JohannesK is debuting his first solo EP, "Is The Tree Dead?"

    The title 'Is The Tree Dead?' delves into profound philosophical questions about life, reflecting on the seeds and ideas that we plant and whether they bear fruit. It explores moments of self-questioning and reflection on past decisions, inviting listeners to contemplate their own journeys and the paths they have chosen.

    The EP commences with an intro track that boasts raw textures and dynamic rhythms. The second track, "Leaves," is a standout on the record, featuring ethereal sounds that evolve into a memorable melody. It exudes a mysterious ambiance with alluring yet refined melodies.

    The flipside of the EP opens with an energetic dancefloor hit, "Concrete Cracks." This track is characterized by its lively tempo and captivating lead sounds. Lastly, "The Ritual" is a high-energy techno piece that seamlessly blends with the uniquely textured elements throughout the EP, all of which were expertly crafted by JohannesK using his modular synthesizer.

    Like all vinyl releases of the label, the record comes with a beautiful poster featuring the hand-painted artwork made by Johannes Bosisio.
